These terms were last updated as of 2026 and are subject to change without notice. Where they conflict with a signed charter contract issued by an operator, that operator’s contract governs the actual voyage.
Who are you contracting with?
Windward Bali is a trading brand for private crewed sailing charters departing Bali. The site is published by Juara Holding Group, and bookings are handled by Bali Premium Trip’s reservations team. When you enquire, you are asking us to arrange a charter for you.
We work as a concierge and booking coordinator. We do not own the sailing yachts or catamarans listed or described on this site. Vessels are operated by third-party, locally licensed charter operators, and every charter you book is arranged via vetted licensed partners. Your on-water contract, insurance cover, and safety obligations sit with the operator that supplies the boat.

What does an enquiry actually commit you to?
Sending a message costs nothing and books nothing. An enquiry is a request for information and availability. A charter is only confirmed when three things happen: the operator confirms the vessel and date, you accept a written quote, and any required deposit clears.
Until that point:
- Prices quoted on the site or in chat are indicative and dated. Figures such as catamaran day rates around EUR 2,167, Bali rentals from roughly EUR 676 per day, or mid-size sailing-catamaran day trips of about USD 1,500 to USD 3,500 are drawn from charter marketplaces as of 2026 and change with season, boat size, and itinerary.
- Private sailing charters are priced per whole boat, not per person, unless a quote states otherwise.
- Peak dates, meaning July to August and the Christmas-New Year window, carry premium rates and tighter availability. A rate you saw last week may not hold.
- Fuel, harbour fees, park or e-ticketing charges, food and drink packages, and crew gratuities may be quoted separately.
How do booking, payment, and deposits work?
Each operator sets its own deposit percentage, balance-due date, and accepted payment methods, and these are stated in the quote and charter contract you receive. We pass those terms to you in writing before you pay anything. Read them before transferring funds.
You are responsible for giving accurate guest counts, names, and passport details where a vessel or cruising permit requires them. For sailings that leave Indonesian waters or involve a foreign-flagged yacht, operators may ask for documentation such as a passport valid well beyond your stay, a CAIT cruising permit, and a valid visa. Treat any such list as operational guidance to confirm with the operator and current Indonesian authorities, not as fixed 2027 rules set by us.
What are the cancellation and change terms?
Cancellation, rescheduling, and refund rules are set by the operator, not by Windward Bali, and they vary by vessel and season. We will always send you the applicable policy in writing before you commit. As a general frame:

The captain’s decision on whether it is safe to sail, where to anchor, and when to return is final and made for your safety.
What can you expect from the sailing experience?
We describe sailing charters honestly. A sail from Benoa toward Nusa Penida, taking in Manta Point, Crystal Bay, and Kelingking Beach, is a wind-powered day, not a speedboat dash. Nusa Penida sits about 90 minutes from Benoa by motor yacht; under sail it takes longer, so schedules balance sail time against anchor-and-snorkel time. Timings, routes, and stops are weather-dependent and indicative.
Nearly all Bali leisure charters are captained and crewed, so you generally do not need a boating licence to book. Descriptions of vessels, crew, and inclusions come from operators; we present them in good faith but cannot warrant every detail against the boat you ultimately sail on.
How do we handle your personal data?
We collect only what we need to answer your enquiry and arrange a charter: your name, contact details, travel dates, guest numbers, and any preferences you share. We process this data in line with Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law (UU No. 27 of 2022, “UU PDP”).
For visitors in the EU, UK, and other regions, we also aim to respect the principles of the GDPR. That means:
- Purpose limitation. We use your data to respond, quote, and coordinate your charter, and to meet legal or accounting duties.
- Sharing. We share only what the chosen operator needs to confirm and run your booking. We do not sell your data.

- Retention. We keep enquiry and booking records only as long as needed for the booking, legal, and tax purposes, then delete or anonymise them.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, our liability is limited to the concierge service we provide. Liability for the voyage itself, for vessel safety, seaworthiness, insurance, and crew conduct rests with the operator supplying the boat. How do we reach agreement and resolve disputes?
